First Return

Baby and I went to America. We heard that things were cheaper there, and that there were places where you could look in all directions and just see vast expanse, nothing by human beings.

First bridge, first car, first countryside: Sewickley

The Moon peninsula

The flats

Marco demands a demonstration of the corpse-carrying capacity of the Chrysler 300

When you full up with strong-type women, you undefeatable, kid

Dave and I caught up at the Art All Night

where there were belly dancers and a tabla band

Class Of 1994 Update: Matt Wilson, of Destroyers fame, has made a tidy life for himself as a schoolteacher

They had a party for us at my cousin's farm in Beaver County. My favorite part is when we jocularly inquired if the hamburgers we were eating were from the cows in the pasture. A few minutes later, Eddie came out, blinked and told us of course, from about two weeks ago. My mom targeted Nathan to take pictures for her, which he was kind enough to oblige

The Triumphant Leonardos

I took my little cousin Anthony out on the quads, and had to drive with one arm as I clipped him to me with the other. There was a huge conflagration in the field, and he pointed at it and said "fire," his only word for the entire trip. I drove through the smoke

Edgeworth, a picture postcard with a few power lines and a walker thrown in

Bower Hill Road is a reality show of a community, with each house larger than the rest. Baby was especially overwhelmed by this $20 million [stock] lot

to NYC

WARNING: if pictures like this turn your stomach, then abandon all hope ye who scroll down here

Marc and Patricia waited for us for about two hours at a cafe in Washington Square

And then we got HIIIIGH! Or it looks like it, at least

Petra and I do our best B&T look. Only one succeeds

I forced the group to stop at Dumpling Man, and convinced Kristine to get some too, which she thanked me for later. The first of our hobbit's-worth meals

Posse up internationals

We went to this party on the top floor of a building on A. It was a housewarming for a 20something record exec and, according to one source, the fact that he was NYC born-and-raised meant he had "15 years on the rest of us." ACK! I was making these really good jokes about milky drinks that the girls were way too Tin Man to laugh at. Anyways, the roof was nice.

really nice

Finally, a love interest with a comparable head/face size

Eurotrash

not metal at all

I wish they all could be Slusovice girls

The vintage stores were surprisingly billig

Who sucked out the fashion feeling?

Kate and Sal

Nice to have a chandelier store between your hotel and subway stop

as cute as they are nice

Who's to stop anyone from possessing a subway car in this modern world?

Thanks to everyone, you made our trip awesome! Though it was way too short to even percieve what was happening. Didn't Blink-182 write a song about this?
